Young played college football for Brigham Young University and entered the National Football League in 1985, after initially playing professionally in the upstart United States Football League. Steve Young won three Super Bowls with the 49ers. He was a two-time NFL MVP, winning the award in 1992 and 1994. Young has the second most quarterback rushing touchdowns in NFL history and his passer rating is ranked fourth all-time.
